***An Analysis of the Holy Name Cathedral and Other Church Fires***

In February of 2009 the Holy Name Cathedral was struck by a fire which threatened to destroy this historic structure. What were the fire protection features which combined to save the building? What went right? What went wrong?

Please join us at the William Tell (Holiday Inn) Monday, February 6th, 2012 for our annual joint Chicago SFPE-Fire Services Luncheon. Ed Prendergast will present on famous (or infamous) church fires, including the Holy Name Cathedral fire in 2009.

TIME:   Monday, February 6, 2012, 11:30am sign-in with lunch at 12:00pm

COST:   Members with advance reservation $25,
                  guests and walk-in members $30,
                  firefighters in uniform $15,
                  fulltime students with valid ID $10

The meal served will be an array of family style Greek cuisine, there is no need to reserve a meal choice.
